Exactly!!

Not feeling in the greatest of moods today, not sure where my happiness lies and not sure how and what to do to change it, came across these quotes and they rang so true to how I feel.. just wish I had the guts to make the choice I have to make. Not that I care about what others think but I need to make myself happy..but what will make me happy?? Such a tough question...

Every day, passion speaks to us through our feelings. that's why when you allow yourself to become anesthetized by what others think, you literally block yourself from living the life you were called to live. I promise you that if you make a choice that doesn't please your mate, your friends, your mother, or whoever, the world will not fall apart -- the people who truly love you want you to love yourself. and as you become clearer about who you really are, you'll be better able to decide what is best for you -- the first time around. - Oprah Winfrey

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. -Steve Jobs

Love the second quote so much!!

Just thought I'd pass on this quote to you to think about as well.
To quote Pascal, "we are all born with a God-shaped hole in our heart. This vacuum exists because we were created to have a dynamic, intimate relationship with God. There are so many things in this world that we enjoy and marvel at; -- imagine spending time with the author of butterfly wings and black holes; From the smallest insect to galaxies, music to math, God originated it all. If you asked me what heaven is like, I may not be able to paint you a picture, but I do know the most important fact about heaven: Heaven is to be in the unveiled and unrestrainted presence of God."

Enjoying your blog and have bookmarked it. I'm a scrapbooking grandmother of a beautiful 15-mo. old granddaughter. You're son is beautiful.

The first quote is so true. I personally was always worried about what others would think and not thinking about myself and you see what happened to me. It worked out for me, but in the process I was a wreck. Take care. Life is great!
